Alisyn
Camerota is an anchor and national correspondent based in New
York for the FOX News Channel. At FNC, Alisyn has covered most major
news stories. She anchored during much of the beginning of the Iraq
War, including the moment when U.S. troops entered Baghdad and seized
Saddam Hussein's palace. She was live on the air at the moment the
Space Shuttle Columbia exploded and spearheaded FNC's coverage for the
next two hours. Similarly when news broke that a Rhode Island Nightclub
had gone up in flames with hundreds trapped inside, Alisyn anchored the
network's breaking news coverage live for four consecutive hours.
Alisyn also anchored the live breaking story of the London subway/bus
bombings. Following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Alisyn reported
from Ground Zero and the Pentagon. Internationally, Alisyn covered the
11-day ceremonial funeral of Britain's Queen Mum from London as well as
the U.S. Cardinals meeting at the Vatican in Rome.

Alisyn regularly hosts FOX & Friends, the 3-hour network morning
show, plus FOX News Live and the evening newscast the FOX Report.

Alisyn cultivated a specialty in
crime reporting on the program "America's Most Wanted," where she was
responsible for jailhouse interviews with murderers, serial rapists and
child molesters. She received honors and awards from the FBI, US
Marshals and state police agencies for her reporting which lead to the
capture of 42 fugitives. She was known as the correspondent to extract
the most surrenders and confessions from criminals.

Following "AMW," Alisyn became a correspondent and substitute host for
NBC's daytime magazine show "REALlife, for which
she traversed the
country telling the compelling stories of real people. After dodging a
speeding bullet, jumping off a Navy Ship and surviving the pecking of
wild ostriches, she earned a reputation for truly diving into her
stories.

Alisyn got her start in journalism under the tutelage of Ted Koppel.
She worked for Koppel's production company Koppel Communications and
helped produce his prime-time, award-winning specials called "The
Koppel Reports." Alisyn attended the American University in Washington,
D.C. on an academic scholarship and graduated cum laude with a major in
Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Criminal Justice.
